Hi! I’m Molly

Hello, I’m Molly Harmon—the photographer, storyteller, and creative eye behind Molly Harmon Photography. First, thank you for being here. Whether you’re a returning client or discovering my work for the first time, I’m truly grateful you’ve taken a moment to step into my world.

As of 2026, I’ve been photographing professionally for over 17 years, and what started as a passion has grown into a life I deeply love—built around family, creativity, and telling stories that matter. Over the years, my work has evolved alongside my life: becoming a mom, and continuing to grow both personally and artistically has only deepened the way I see people and the moments they share.

I still find myself constantly inspired by the same things I always have—wide open Kansas skies, golden sunsets, quiet country roads, and the honest, unscripted moments that happen when people forget the camera is there. My style remains bold, emotive, and deeply intentional, with a love for rich contrast, natural movement, and storytelling that feels both artistic and real.

While my heart will always be rooted in Kansas fields and rustic landscapes, my creative spirit has also been shaped by travel and exploration. Stepping into new places and experiences continues to influence my work, pushing me to see light, connection, and emotion in fresh ways. That blend of home and adventure is at the core of everything I create.

These days, life looks a little fuller—in the best way. My family has grown, my business has expanded, and my studio has become a creative home base in my hometown of Oskaloosa, Kansas, where I’m proud to serve clients from all stages of life. From newborns to weddings, seniors to growing families, I consider it an honor to document chapters that become part of your legacy.

My approach has always been rooted in connection. I don’t just want to pose you—I want to understand you. The laughter, the chaos, the quiet in-between moments, the way your kids grab your hand, or the way you look at each other when no one is watching—those are the things I’m after. I believe the most powerful images are the ones that feel like memories, not just photographs.

At the heart of it all, I’m still that same girl who picks up her camera because she sees beauty everywhere—but now with years of experience, a deeper understanding of light and storytelling, and a life that constantly reminds me how precious these moments really are.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to help tell your story.
