Photography has been more than a career for me—it's been a lifelong passion and creative journey. As a proud Oskaloosa High School alumna, it was important to build my business in the community that shaped me. Oskaloosa will always be home, and I feel incredibly fortunate to own a studio in the heart of my hometown while continuing to serve clients throughout Kansas and beyond.
With more than 17 years of professional photography experience, I have dedicated my career to documenting life's most meaningful moments—from the first days of a newborn's life to weddings, growing families, high school seniors, and everything in between. Over the years, my work has been shaped by a background in Marketing, Graphic Design, and Website Development, giving me a unique artistic perspective that goes beyond simply taking photographs. Every image is intentionally composed to tell a story, evoke emotion, and stand the test of time.
My photography style is bold, expressive, and deeply rooted in storytelling. I am inspired by the beauty of travel, open landscapes, changing seasons, and the genuine connections between people. Whether I'm photographing in my studio, exploring the countryside surrounding Oskaloosa, or traveling to a destination session, I look for the moments that feel authentic and unscripted—the moments that reveal who you truly are.
